ACHA Ranking #7 released
   
January 18, 2008 - The University of Illinois received all 44 first-place votes and continued to hold the top spot in the seventh ranking of the regular season.  The rest of the top five remained unchanged.  With only 4 weekends of hockey remaining before the National Tournament bids are released, several teams have are either digging in to hold their current spot, or making a push for that elusive spot in the top 16.  One of those teams was the rankings highest mover, Robert Morris (PA). The Colonials were the only team that managed to jump up a mere two spots. The rankings have expanded this season to include the Top 25 teams, up from 20. The eighth ranking of the regular season will be released on Friday, February 1. .
